We all have memorable coffee moments that keep us searching for that next special bean. One of my defining coffee moments was opening a jar of this El Boqueron natural and being assaulted by an aroma-barrage of strawberries. It was after this moment that I realized I loved naturally processed coffees, this being the converter. Its massive, boozy, fruity aroma translated to a sapid fruit-filled cup of espresso, which I kept going back for until the harvest dried up. Thankfully we’ve secured the fresh harvest of this awesome Guatemalan coffee, and it’s tasting just as good as I remember.
A complex boozy cup with jammy, cooked strawberry, and liquorice spice notes.
